My First Styling Workshop

LLI 2018 Workshop 0019.JPG

A couple weeks ago, on a Saturday just like this one, I spent the day with Love Life Images and taught the group how to 'style wedding stills on the fly.' This was my first Workshop, and I'm not going to lie, I was pretty nervous. Public speaking has always given me the eeks. But I did it! I gave a full presentation about my styling process, tricks of the trade, what 'next level wedding photography' looks like and then I had the whole group play around with making flat lays {scroll down to see the awesome work they did!!!}

Jennifer, the owner and one of the photographers of Love Life Images, sourced bouquets and paper goods everyone could use; I as usual, brought in looootttsss of supplemental props and surfaces. All in all, it was REALLY fun! I loved seeing everyone's unique take on the assignment and helping them fine tune for the future. Can't wait to see what this crazy, talented group of photographers creates this year!

Thank you Love Life Images for having me! It's made me understand how to translate what I do as a teacher, and that is just super cool ❤️ in fact, I hope I get to do it again sometime soon!
