A Celebration Of The Ocean’s Bounty – Helm to Hearth is an annual event that takes place at the newly renovated Three Waters Resort and Marina in Islamorada Florida. The spring weekend event combines deep sea fishing adventures with a culinary focus back on land featuring visiting top chefs who create tasting menu’s around the local harvest. We worked with Three Waters Resort & Marina and their hospitality team to design a brand identity that captures the spirit of the open ocean and culinary flair. The brand was applied to digital promotional materials as well as physical swag and printed pieces given out during the event.
Brand Design & Application
LOGO SUITE - The logotype evokes hand painted beach shack signs and weathered fishing charter boats. The icon doubles as fish and flame to represent both the ocean’s bounty and the cooking method on an open hearth.
COLOR PALETTE & BORDER PATTERN - The simple color palette is deep ocean blue and sand reflecting the Florida Key’s location of the event. The fish / flame icon was expanded into a border pattern treatment that gives off a laid back beach fishing shack vibe.
