Sero Candles is a clean-burning, non-toxic candle company rooted in thoughtful craftsmanship and sustainable design. Founder Ben LoBue partnered with Limonata to develop not only the brand’s visual identity and logo, but also the art direction, styling, and production of the imagery and videography featured across the brand’s website.
Brand & Packaging Design
LOGO SUITE - Symmetrically sinuous and simple. A single continuous line forms a letter S, an abstracted flame, and subtle leaves symbolizing the natural ingredients. The mark mirrors the product design balancing geometric precision and engineering with natural flow and materials. The logotype, a clean and legible sans serif lets the monogram do the heavy lifting.
COLOR PALETTE - Raw and refined. A restrained palette of deep forest green and sun bleached stone was developed for the brand design. This allows accents and pops of personality to come through strong in the lifestyle imagery as well as reflect the different scents.
PACKAGING DESIGN - Less is more. Much like the product design, leveraging the beauty & texture of the beechwood vessel, we let the tube wrapped in natural craft paper substrate be the hero. With the goal of limiting the carbon footprint, Sero’s founder wanted to have the package be able to ship directly without needing to be placed in additional boxes. With that in mind we limited ourselves to white ink and used it sparingly - leaving ample space for the shipping label.

Through intentional casting, thoughtful set design, and refined styling direction, we crafted a visual world for Sero that feels both distinctive and expansive - capturing the essence of the brand while creating a strong foundation for future growth.
